Privacy Policy
Last Updated July 29, 2026
Gladius Christi ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website located at www.gladiuschristi.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
This Site is built and hosted on Squarespace. Some of the information described below is collected directly by us, and some is collected automatically by Squarespace's underlying platform to operate and secure the Site.
1. Information We Collect Directly
Contact and Inquiry Forms
When you submit a contact or inquiry form on our Site, we collect the information you provide, which may include:
Name
Email address
Phone number (if requested)
Any message or details you include in the form
We use this information solely to respond to your inquiry and to communicate with you about the products, services, or questions you've raised. We do not sell this information.
2. Information Collected Automatically
Because this Site is hosted on Squarespace, certain information is collected automatically in the background to make the Site function, keep it secure, and help us understand how visitors use it. This includes:
Device and browser information — such as browser type, operating system, screen resolution, and device type
Log and usage data — such as IP address, pages viewed, referring/exit pages, and timestamps
Cookies and similar technologies — small files placed on your device that help the Site function (e.g., remembering settings) and, if enabled, power Squarespace's built-in analytics about site traffic and visitor activity
Squarespace, as our website platform and hosting provider, processes some of this information on our behalf as part of providing the Site to us. You can review Squarespace's own practices in their Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
Cookie Controls
If a cookie banner is enabled on this Site, you can manage or decline non-essential cookies through that banner. You can also control cookies through your browser settings; note that disabling cookies may affect how the Site functions.
3. Third-Party Tools
At this time, we primarily rely on Squarespace's built-in analytics to understand site traffic. If we add additional third-party tools in the future — such as Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp), or advertising pixels — we will update this policy to describe what those tools collect and how they're used, and will link to the relevant third party's privacy policy.
4. Purchases via Kajabi
If you choose to purchase an online course or other product from us, you will be directed to a third-party platform, Kajabi, to complete your purchase. Kajabi handles the checkout process, including collection of payment information, billing details, and course access. Any information you submit during checkout is collected and processed by Kajabi in accordance with Kajabi's own privacy policy, not this one. We encourage you to review Kajabi's privacy policy before completing a purchase.
If we receive any purchaser information back from Kajabi (for example, your name and email address for course delivery, customer support, or marketing communications you've opted into), we will handle that information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
5. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
Respond to inquiries submitted through our contact form
Operate, maintain, and improve the Site
Monitor and analyze usage and trends
Detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fraud, or security concerns
Comply with legal obligations
6. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:
Service providers, such as Squarespace, who host and support the technical operation of the Site
Legal authorities, if required to comply with a law, regulation, subpoena, or legal process
A successor entity, in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of business assets
7. Data Retention
We retain information submitted through our contact form for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and for a reasonable period afterward for our business records, unless you request deletion sooner (see Section 8).
8. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, which can include the right to:
Request access to the personal information we hold about you
Request correction or deletion of your personal information
Opt out of certain uses of your information
California Residents: Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), California residents have the right to request disclosure of, and deletion of, personal information we've collected, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or "share" personal information as those terms are defined under California law.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information in Section 11.
9. Children's Privacy
This Site is not intended for, or directed at, individuals under 18 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
10. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information we collect. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
